The psychic waitress
Saturday we went to Alan's high school friend's wedding at St. Cecilia's and then the reception at AT&T Park. As the guests walked in to the Club Level of the park, we were handed Garlic Fries in little cups! I thought that was a cute touch. We saw all of Alan's high school friends, most of which we haven't seen since Christmas. So everyone noticed that I had a little belly, including the waiters and waitresses. As I was walking to the bathroom, one of the waitresses pointed at my stomach and said "It's a boy!". The first thing she said to me! haha. Then she said "You're about 6 months, right? You're definitely carrying a boy." Hmm... I guess everyone has their guesses, but I thought it was funny how that was the first thing she said to me when she saw me.

Graduations galore
We went to Ben's graduation at the Greek Theater in Berkeley on Saturday morning. It wasn't as long as I thought it would be and definitely not as hot as mine was, especially since it was a morning graduation. The speeches were entertaining and we cheered loudly as Ben walked across the stage to get his diploma. Congrats Ben!

This weekend we have two more graduations - Mike's and my cousin Jason's. And next month Heidi's in San Diego and my other cousin Jennifer is graduating from UC Davis, but it's the same weekend as Heidi's so we can't go. We'll be there in spirit, though.

Let's go Giants!
We went to the Giants vs. A's game in Oakland on Sunday... and finally the Giants won! We toned it down a little, since we were going to be in enemy territory. I didn't even wear any Giants gear, and Alan only wore his visor. But there were actually a lot of Giants fans at the game, so I didn't feel too out-of-place. But unfortunately, out of the 14 of us that went, only us 2 were Giants fans! So we were just high-fiving each other and no one else. There were some really weird guys in front of us who kept giving each other open-hand slaps on their bodies, so hard that when they took their shirts off you could see red handprints. Weird A's fans! :)

Fudgeanna without the Fudge, please
Afterwards we headed over to Fenton's! And I ordered my Fudgeanna without the Fudge, with caramel instead. I got one scoop of Heath Bar ice cream and one scoop of Toasted Almond. The first one they brought out for me had Fudge, so I sent it back! Our friends said that I gave the waitress a dirty look, but I didn't think I did :) Baby wanted caramel, not fudge! :) Good thing Alan and I shared, cuz I wouldn't have finished it by myself.

Window Shopping at Babies R Us
Last week, Alan and I went to Babies R Us to look around, check out all the merchandise and try to decide what we want to put on our registry. We didn't register yet, but we got to try out different strollers, car seats, cribs, etc. Since we have to pick a neutral theme, there was a limited number of choices that aren't predominantly blue or pink - but we've narrowed it down to two! I'm using the Baby Bargains book that my cousin bought for us to read reviews on the different products. Hopefully we can register soon!

It must be the shirt
Ok, so I'm not wearing a maternity shirt, but a regular cotton collared shirt that I guess you can say is kinda tight-fitting so my belly shows more (especially my belly button which in the past few days has totally become an outie!). But I've had 3 people at work that haven't mentioned it before ask me about my pregnancy - how far along I am, congratulations, etc. I suppose it's maybe because they're 100% sure that I'm pregnant now and not just gaining weight. I think it's funny though.

Tough week... Looking forward to the weekend!
Had a tough week at work this week. Glad to say it's FRIDAY!! This weekend, we're going to a graduation, a wedding, and the Giants vs. A's game in Oakland. Ooooh, and then Fenton's afterwards in Oakland! I, no doubt, will order my classic "Fudgeanna, without the fudge, but with caramel instead". My friends used to always make fun of me for saying that every time we went there in college. But it's the only pre-made sundae on the menu with a banana, 3 scoops of ice cream, toppings, but it comes with fudge - and I prefer caramel - so I ask for it without the fudge :)

21 weeks!?
So we had an appointment yesterdary and the doctor goes - so you're 21 weeks along? And I said .... um...no... I think I'm about 25 weeks! So we went back to her office and it turns out she had looked at the wrong chart!! It kinda freaked me out a little - then I would be due in September instead of August! I guess that happens when you have so many patients to see in a day. Heard Baby's heartbeat again - it's always cool to hear. Doc suggested I take an iron supplement, but I looked at my prenatal vitamin and it already has 150% of DRV of iron. So should I take an extra iron pill?

Happy Mother's Day!
A belated Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers! Had a great weekend with the family, starting off with the BIG surprise: Kitchie and Jerry came to town! We were all surprised when they rang the doorbell and showed up with their suitcases! My mom got down on her knees and started crying, like she had won the Ed McMahon sweepstakes :) So the whole fam was together again.

For Mother's Day, we went to church, where for the first time I got to stand up for a special blessing for the mothers and mothers-to-be. Then we headed over to Patio Filipino for lunch! Yummy Filipino food including Lumpianitas, Fried Shrimp, Crispy Pata, Pancit, Bulalo (beef bone soup), Bistek (beef steak), Paella, Bangus Sisig (fish), Crispy Fried Chicken, and Turon with Ice Cream for dessert. Yum. The Abars joined us too, so it was a big family celebration! Here are a few pics.

Wedding at the Mission
Saturday we went to a wedding at the Mission Santa Clara (where we got married too!) and then a nice Chinese banquet at the Empress of China in downtown SF. I was so full after the 10+ course meal - it was like we were eating non-stop for 3 hours! Plus there was open bar, which Alan took advantage of and I, of course, had all the orange juice and sprite that I wanted. :) Congrats to Brian and Joanne!

Keep Believing!
Even though the Warriors lost on Sunday, we still have a chance! So keep believing, all you Warrior fans and cheer your hearts out tonight. Hopefully we can win and bring the series back to the Bay on Thursday!

Alan and I went to the game on Friday again and it was again, NUTS! This team has really got the Bay Area fans going wild and crazy, and it was fun to be a part of all the madness! We saw lots of people there, including Johanna, Alan's cousin Randy, and my cousin Chris and his wife Melannie and son Derek!

WE BELIEVE!!
Alan and I went to the Warriors game last night and it was awesome!! Game 6 of the Round 1 playoffs. The Warriors being seeded 8th defeating the Mavericks (1st seed) was history in the making!! The game was great - the place went wild afterwards! So, I'm a fair-weather fan... but who cares!?! Go Warriors! :) Click here for more pics. On to Round 2...
