Due date has come...and gone...
Yup, I'm still here! 1 day overdue. We had an appointment yesterday for a non-stress test and everything looks fine. Baby's heartbeat is as it should be, and it responds to different stimuli as it's supposed to - like a little buzzer against my tummy, drinking apple juice, and contractions. Ultrasound showed that I still have lots of amniotic fluid around Baby and my placenta looks fine. So all we can do is wait it out. The nurse said that doc will usually only induce 10 days after the due date if everything looks fine, so we just wait and go back for more appointments next week to check if s/he hasn't arrived yet.

Long weekend
So Kitchie and Jerry are flying in this morning for the long weekend, since they were hoping to meet Baby! (Still could happen, you never know!). They're probably gonna want me to eat that Prego Pizza at Skipolini's that's known to induce labor. We'll see. We're going to Gerry's Grill for lunch to celebrate 3 birthdays - mine, Jerry's, and my uncle's. Soon, we'll be adding another birthday to the list to celebrate around this time.

Hairspray and High School Musical
So I've watched both High School Musicals on the Disney channel, and although they are kinda cheesy, I can see the appeal with kids. And Heidi and I watched Hairspray in the theaters on Thursday, with the same lead guy - Zac Efron. The movie was really good - based on the Broadway musical that I love!

50% are late
I've been reading online that 50% of pregnancies (most 1st timers) are late. So I guess it's nothing new. The wait is getting to me though :)
